Privacy Policy
Purrl · Last updated 9 October 2026
Purrl ("the game") is made by Yasin Ertekin ("we"). This policy explains what data the game collects, why, and the choices you have. The game has no accounts: we never ask for your name, email address or phone number.
What the game collects
Our own code does not send anything over the network. It passes the following to the services listed below:
- A random install ID created when you first open the game. It is not linked to your name or contact details. Settings shows its first characters so support can find your data.
- Gameplay events, such as levels started and finished, boosters used and screens opened.
- Purchases: the product, price, currency and transaction ID. Payments are handled by Apple or Google; we never see your card details.
- Ads: which ads were shown and the revenue they earned.
- Diagnostics: crash reports, error logs and start-up time.
- Device and advertising identifiers (such as Apple's IDFA, IDFV or Google's advertising ID), the device model, operating system and approximate location from your IP address, collected by the services below.
Services we use
| Service | Purpose | Privacy policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config) | Understanding how the game is played, fixing crashes, tuning the game | firebase.google.com/support/privacy |
| AppLovin MAX and its ad networks | Showing ads, measuring them, preventing fraud | applovin.com/privacy |
| Adjust | Measuring installs and marketing | adjust.com/terms/privacy-policy |
| Unity In-App Purchasing | Processing purchases with Apple and Google | unity.com/legal/privacy-policy |
Advertising and your choices
On iPhone, the game asks for permission before it uses your advertising identifier for tracking (App Tracking Transparency); you can change this in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA and the UK), the game asks for your consent before personalised ads and analytics, and you can change your choices in the game's Settings. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. Buying "No Ads" removes forced ads.
Children
The game is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Keeping and deleting data
Your progress is stored only on your device; uninstalling the game deletes it. To have the data held by the services above deleted, email us from the game's Settings → Support: the email includes your install ID. We will ask each service to delete the data linked to it. You can also contact AppLovin and Adjust directly through the links above.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your data. Contact us and we will help.
Changes
We will update this page if the game's data practices change, and change the date above.
